“Haiku of Haiku” - Kinston Ackölf

Introduction

HaikuSDL is a work-in-progress modular self-driving lab (SDL) assembly and architecture in attempt for connecting laboratorial policies updates and execution to decision making in materials science/chemistry research using real time data.

HaikuSDL is inspired by the Haiku traditional Japanese poetic form which often focus on nature and emphasizes on simplicity, intensity, and directness of expression. A Haiku might have a “kireji” which provides a structural support for a parallel of preceding and following phrases - the atoms and bits in our case.

Projects and Modules

As the goal of HaikuSDL being modular, modules are designed to be standalone tools and packages which it allows semi-plug-and-play for your own applications
